Meet Yukti Thareja, the New Face Stepping Into Farzi Season 2 Opposite Shahid Kapoor

She also revealed that filming is well underway, with roughly 80 percent of her portion already shot and a release targeted for mid-2027.

Thareja describes her character as a fearless Gen-Z woman who speaks up against the system, a description that signals a sharper, more contemporary energy than what longtime viewers may be expecting. According to her, every one of her scenes is opposite Shahid Kapoor himself, underlining just how central this part is to the new season’s storyline rather than a peripheral supporting role.

She’s also been candid about where production currently stands, revealing that she’s already shot roughly 80 percent of her portion, with the remainder to be wrapped up before the season’s mid-2027 release.
