Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ Set to Inspire Audiences in 2024
Akshay Kumar has announced his next big project titled ‘Sarfira’, which is slated for release on July 12, 2024. The film appears to be a remake of the National Award winning Tamil film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ starring Suriya. With Akshay Kumar in the lead, ‘Sarfira’ promises to be an inspiring story that will resonate with audiences.

Powerful Supporting Cast
Apart from Akshay Kumar in the lead, ‘Sarfira’ also features a powerful supporting cast. This includes seasoned actors like Paresh Rawal, Radhika Madan and Seema Biswas in pivotal roles. Their addition raises the bar for the film significantly.
National Award winner Sudha Kongara will be directing the film. She has previously helmed acclaimed films like ‘Soorarai Pottru’ and ‘Irudhi Suttru’. So with her at the helm, we can expect a hard-hitting, realistic drama highlighting social issues. The dialogues are by Pooja Tolani while GV Prakash Kumar will compose the music.
Big Scale Production
‘Sarfira’ is produced jointly by Akshay’s Cape of Good Films, Suriya’s 2D Entertainment and Abundantia Entertainment. Top south stars Suriya and Jyothika are backing the film as co-producers. The grandeur and scale of production is comparable to a big budget Hollywood film, as per reports. Major portions have been shot across exotic foreign locales like London, Scotland, Jordan and Abu Dhabi. So the cinematography and production design will likely be top-notch.

Clash with Ajay Devgn’s Maidaan
Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ is headed for a mega box office clash with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Maidaan’. While ‘Sarfira’ arrives on July 12, 2024, Ajay’s ‘Maidaan’ is also releasing the same day.
‘Maidaan’ is a sports drama based on real life football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. Ajay Devgn plays the lead role of coach Rahim who brought glory to the Indian football team. It is helmed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of ‘Badhai Ho’ fame.
So movie buffs are in for a treat with two big stars like Akshay and Ajay clashing at the box office. It will be interesting to see which film emerges victorious when they hit theatres on the same day.

Akshay Kumar’s Resurgence
