Ankita Lokhande Speaks Out on Casting Couch Experience and Bigg Boss Controversies
Indian television and film actress Ankita Lokhande has recently opened up about inappropriate demands she faced early in her career, as well as controversies surrounding her participation in Bigg Boss 17 with husband Vicky Jain.
Faced Compromising Demands as a Teenager
In a candid interview, Lokhande revealed that she was asked to “compromise” and sleep with a South Indian producer when she was just 19 years old. At the time, Lokhande was excited about the opportunity to act in a South film and went to sign the contract. However, she was then told that she would need to sleep with the producer in order to secure the role.
Showing maturity beyond her years, Lokhande flatly refused the unethical demand, telling the producer “I don’t think your producer needs talent; he just needs a girl to sleep with, and I am not that one.” Her account sheds light on the troubling reality of casting couch demands placed on young aspiring actresses.

Clarifying Bigg Boss Controversies
More recently, Lokhande’s appearance with husband Vicky Jain on Bigg Boss 17 resulted in ample controversy as their marital spats played out on camera. One widely discussed incident involved Lokhande furiously throwing a slipper at Jain during a heated argument.
Addressing the controversies, Lokhande clarified that such fights are normal between them as a couple, but seemed inappropriate when televised to the public. She expressed regret over disrespecting her husband in that way on a reality show.
Lokhande also defended her relationship with Jain and her mother-in-law, saying that viewers should not judge a relationship based on selective footage. She owned up to her talking style with Jain being wrong on the show, promising him that it was not reflective of how she normally communicates with her partner.
