Censor Board Denied Certificate for ‘72 Hoorain’ Theatrical Trailer | Watch here
The much-awaited film “72 Hoorain” has been met with a great deal of controversy since its trailer was released on YouTube. Its Censor Certificate, which was obtained prior, is now being questioned as the Censor Board has rejected the theatrical trailer and emphasised on cuts. The original theatrical release of the trailer slated for June 28 cannot take place, resulting in a major setback for the film. Directed by two-time National Award winner Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, the movie is slated to be released on July 7.
The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) declined to approve the trailer of 72 Hoorain and instructed its producers to take out some images, worries about animal well-being, and references to the Quran.
The trailer shows the real-life story of how radicalists entice innocent young people into becoming suicide bombers. The teaser also highlights how terrorists deceive people, by promising them 72 Hurons. The disclaimer at the end of the trailer emphasizes that the story is based on actual events.
