Priyanka Chopra Sells Two Mumbai Apartments Worth Rs 6 Crore

Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has sold two penthouses in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala Complex for a total of Rs 6 crore, as per registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com. The apartments were purchased by filmmaker Abhishek Chaubey, known for movies like ‘Udta Punjab’ and ‘Sonchiriya’.

Details of the Transaction

The two penthouses sold by Priyanka are located in the plush Lokhandwala Complex in Andheri, Mumbai. The first 860 sq ft penthouse on a higher floor was sold for Rs 2.25 crore. The larger 1,432 sq ft second penthouse fetched Rs 3.75 crore.

The transactions were registered on October 23 and October 25. They were conducted by Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra on the actress’ behalf. Abhishek Chaubey paid a total stamp duty of around Rs 36 lakh for registering the two apartments.

This is not Priyanka’s first real estate transaction in Mumbai. The global star has been making news over the years for high-value property deals across Mumbai, Goa and New York.

Priyanka’s Past Property Deals

In June 2021, Priyanka had leased a 2,040 sq ft office space in Andheri West for Rs 2.11 lakh per month. In March 2021, she sold two residential apartments in Versova for Rs 7 crore.

In December 2020, along with her mother Babita Kapoor, the actress sold a 1,610 sq ft apartment in Mumbai for Rs 10.11 crore.

After marrying American singer Nick Jonas in 2018, Priyanka has been mostly living in Los Angeles. The couple welcomed a baby girl via surrogacy in January 2022.

Work Front for Priyanka

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is set to make her Bollywood comeback after years. She has been approached to star opposite Ranveer Singh in a new movie. The global icon may also join the cast of ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.

Priyanka will next be seen in the Amazon Studios film ‘Heads of State’ with John Cena and Idris Elba. She also has upcoming Hollywood films like ‘It’s All Coming Back To Me’ and the series ‘Citadel‘.
