Vinayakan Detained at Hyderabad Airport for Misconduct
Malayalam Actor Creates Ruckus at Airport, Renowned Malayalam actor Vinayakan, best known for his villainous role in the blockbuster film Jailer, found himself in hot water once again. The actor was detained at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport for causing a disturbance and misbehaving with airline staff.
The Incident
The incident unfolded as Vinayakan was traveling from Kochi to Goa with a layover in Hyderabad. Reports indicate that the actor became involved in an altercation with IndiGo gate staff, which quickly escalated into a physical confrontation with airport officials. Videos that surfaced online captured Vinayakan sitting shirtless on the airport floor, shouting, and hurling abuses.
CISF Intervention and Arrest
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was forced to step in to quell the situation. They detained Vinayakan and handed him over to the local airport police. A case was registered against the actor, and an investigation into the matter is underway.

Vinayakan’s Claims
Vinayakan, however, has denied any wrongdoing. He claimed that he was assaulted by CISF officials and insisted that he did nothing wrong. The actor demanded CCTV footage as evidence to support his claims. However, police reports suggest that Vinayakan continued to create a ruckus even after being detained.
A Pattern of Misconduct
This is not the first time Vinayakan has been involved in such incidents. In October 2023, he was arrested for causing chaos at a police station in Ernakulam, Kerala, while allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
The recent incident at Hyderabad airport has once again raised concerns about the actor’s behavior and the potential consequences of his actions. As the investigation into the matter proceeds, it remains to be seen what the ultimate outcome will be for Vinayakan.
