YouTube Star Elvish Yadav Booked For Allegedly Hosting Rave Parties With Snakes in Noida
YouTube star and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav has been booked by Noida police along with five others for allegedly hosting illegal rave parties where snakes and venom were used. The police busted one such party in Sector 49 on Thursday night and recovered 9 snakes, including 5 cobras, and 20 ml of snake venom.

The Allegations
According to the FIR filed by an NGO, Elvish Yadav hosted parties at farmhouses in Noida where he would shoot videos with snakes for his YouTube and Instagram channels. It further alleges that foreign nationals were invited to these parties where snakes and venom were used as recreational substances.
Based on a tip-off, the NGO approached Elvish Yadav posing as customers asking for snake venom. Elvish gave them the number of an agent who agreed to supply snakes and venom for a party. This information was shared with the police who then conducted the raid.

Investigation and Arrests
On questioning, the five people arrested from the rave party revealed that they supplied snakes and venom to Elvish Yadav for his parties and videos. The accused have been identified as Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan, and Ravinath, all residents of Delhi.
The police have recovered 9 snakes – 5 cobras, 1 python, 1 two-headed snake and 1 rat snake. Around 20 ml of snake venom has also been seized. The snakes have been handed over to the Forest Department for safekeeping.

Elvish Yadav’s Response
Elvish Yadav has not been arrested yet. Although he has responded to the allegations. The YouTuber shot to fame after winning Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 earlier this year. He enjoys massive popularity on social media with over 7 million YouTube subscribers and 15 million Instagram followers.

The Concerns
The use of venomous snakes and their poison at parties has raised concerns over safety, as it poses serious health risks. Authorities have viewed the matter seriously given the illegal nature of such parties.
Investigation into Elvish Yadav’s involvement and other details are underway. Police are probing if more such parties were organized in the past. Further action will be taken based on evidence collected.
The incident has also triggered discussion on the responsibility of influencers regarding the impact of their actions, especially on young followers.
