Akshara Haasan Buys Luxury Apartment in Mumbai’s Khar for Rs 15.75 Crore
Mumbai’s real estate market continues to attract Bollywood celebrities, with the latest being actor Akshara Haasan. The daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haasan recently purchased a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s western suburb of Khar for Rs 15.75 crore.
Apartment Details
According to reports, Akshara’s new apartment is located on the 13th floor of the 15-storey Ekta Verve tower on 16th Road in Khar. It has a built-up area of 2,245 sq ft, along with a balcony spread over 2,354 sq ft.
The 33-year-old actress also gets three car parking slots as part of the deal. She paid a stamp duty of Rs 94.5 lakh for registering the apartment on September 27.
Ekta Verve is a boutique luxury project by Ekta World group comprising 3BHK, 4BHK and 5BHK apartments. As per MahaRERA records, the tower has only 18 apartments, mostly 5BHK duplexes.

Akshara’s Bollywood Journey
Akshara Haasan made her acting debut in 2015 alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in the Hindi film ‘Shamitabh’. She has since worked in several Hindi and Tamil films over her seven-year career.
Some of her notable performances have come in films like ‘Laabam’ (2021), ‘Kadaram Kondan’ (2019), ‘Vivegam’ (2017) and ‘Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada’ (2016).
Apart from films, Akshara actively advocates for social causes like women’s rights, gender equality and mental health awareness. She lives in Mumbai with her mother, veteran actress Sarika.
