Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Review: Salman Khan’s Larger-than-life Drama is Only ‘NaachGana’ Nonsense
Salman Khan’s followers have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan on the big screen. The wait is finally over; Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had its theatrical launch today, and Bhaijaan’s lovers were delighted. However, we can say that Salman Khan’s larger-than-life drama is only NaachGana nonsense; a variety of scenes are led by songs, whether it makes a purpose or not. That is a trend the movie keeps up till the very end. Read out our detailed review:
Storyline
Bhaijaan (Salman Khan) resolves not to marry because he is unwilling to allow a girl to separate him from his loved siblings, Moh (Jassie Gill), Love (Siddharth Nigam), and Ishq (RaghavJuyal). Bhagya Lakshmi Gundamaneni (PoojaHegde), a Hyderabadi, moves into Bhaijaan’s house as a tenant and influences his opinion on marriage. Bhaijaan learns that the goons are chasing Bhagya when they attack them. Why did the goons try to kill Bhagya? Who is the Villian (Venktesh) after Bhagya ? The film has all the necessary answers.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Review
The plot does not begin until the intermission. The romantic subplots with the three siblings Luv (Siddharth Nigam), Ishq (Raghav Juyal), and Moh (Jassie Gill) and their love companions Chahat (Vinali Bhatnagar), Sukoon (Shehnaaz Gill), and Muskaan (Palak Tiwari) are lifeless and formulaic. You can find a plot only if you dig very attentively.
Too many characters, a bland musical score, and, mainly, bad storytelling that fails to meet audiences’ expectations. Besides a few emotional sequences, Salman’s performance has nothing new to contribute. To conclude, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is not a faithful remake of Veeram.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Star cast and Performances
Salman Khan keeps up his gimmicks without enabling the plot to accommodate it. Salman wanders through a part that highlights stereotypes as his preferred style. In Salman Khan’s film, Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Palak Tiwari, and Siddharth Nigam are just as good as any other extras; they’re just there for appearance. Pooja Hegde takes on yet another role that doesn’t reflect the skills she wants to exhibit. Among the antagonists, Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu stands out. In contrast, Venkatesh wastes his talent and star power in a part that doesn’t favor either.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Selling Point
This time, Salman cracks a couple of jokes about himself, and these are some of the movie’s most amusing scenes. On the other hand, the Film’s music is mediocre, extending the film’s runtime. However, the fact is that they are well-pictured and aesthetically rich. Among them, Himesh Reshammiya’s ‘Naiyyo Lagda’ shines. We can say that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is only the film for stubborn Sallu fans.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Weak Point
The plot isn’t very noteworthy; Fahad Samji’s film relies primarily on violent action with minimal regard for logic. The first half drags along with clumsy attempts at humor and overly loud performances. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is almost logic-less, only Naach Gana nonsense, not up to the mark; if you are not a Bhaijaan fan, you can simply skip and save yourself from a cringe-worthy experience.
