Parineeti Chopra Dons Saree, Sindoor and Choora at Lakme Fashion Week
Newlywed Parineeti Chopra walked the ramp as a showstopper for designer label Faabiiana on Day 4 of the FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week, marking her first fashion show appearance since her wedding to Raghav Chadha last month.
Elegant Bridal Look
The actress looked elegant in a pearl white saree featuring intricate embellishments. She accessorized with statement jewelry including a polki choker, layered necklace, earrings and rings. Parineeti completed her bridal look with her pink chooda, sindoor, smoky eyeshadow, winged eyeliner and berry lipshade. Her center-parted open locks rounded off the glamorous ramp appearance.

Faabiiana Ensemble
Parineeti’s saree was from Faabiiana’s latest collection ‘Qurbat’, inspired by the timeless romance of flowers. The six yards featured delicate mukaish work and chikankari embroidery in banarasi fabric, embellished with akoya and south sea pearls. She paired it with a matching backless blouse. A see-through net cape over her shoulders formed a trail.

First Ramp Walk Post Wedding
This Lakme Fashion Week show marked Parineeti’s first runway appearance since her wedding to Raghav Chadha in September. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Leela Palace, Udaipur. Parineeti expressed her comfort with draping sarees, saying she could even do yoga in them.

Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Parineeti was last seen in ‘Mission Raniganj’ opposite Akshay Kumar which released on October 6. The spy action thriller is still running in theaters. The actress has a couple of films lined up for 2023 including an adaptation of the book ‘The Girl on the Train’ and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
