Asteroid City’s Delayed India Release

Wes Anderson’s visually stunning drama, Asteroid City, was finally released in cinemas in India on August 25, 2023. The film was originally scheduled to release in India on June 23, a week after its North American premiere on June 16. However, Asteroid City was held up by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and the release was postponed. After two visual cuts, the film was approved for theatrical release in India.
