On March 18, Selena Gomez became the first female to acquire 400 million followers on Instagram, outranking Kylie Jenner. Only a few weeks prior, she had taken the title of most-followed woman from the reality star. Now, the singer-songwriter is the third most-followed person on the platform after soccer superstars Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
