Shilpa Shetty’s Sukhee Promises a Heartwarming Tale of Self-Discovery for Women
Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra is all set to return to the big screen after 14 years with the upcoming film Sukhee. Directed by Sonal Joshi, Sukhee aims to present an empowering story about womanhood with a dash of comedy.
The trailer of the film dropped on September 6, giving viewers a sneak peek into the life of the titular character Sukhee, played by Shilpa Shetty. Sukhee is shown as a dedicated homemaker who takes care of her family’s needs while putting her own dreams on the backburner. Her daily routine revolves around her domestic duties, leaving little time for herself.
This monotony is shaken when Sukhee receives an invite to her school reunion in Delhi. Despite initial resistance from her husband, she decides to attend the reunion to relive her carefree youth. What follows is a journey of self-discovery for Sukhee as she reconnects with her school friends, dresses up, enjoys drinks and curse freely.
