Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad Blessed with Baby Girl, Name her Raabiyaa
Popular Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker and her husband Fahad Ahmad have become parents to a baby girl. The couple welcomed their daughter on September 23rd, 2023. They have named their little bundle of joy Raabiyaa.
Joyous Celebration for the New Parents
Swara took to Instagram to share the happy news along with adorable first pictures of their daughter. In the photographs, the new parents can be seen glowing with joy as they hold little Raabiyaa.
The actress expressed their gratitude and excitement over the new addition to their family. She wrote, “A prayer heard, a blessing granted, a song whispered, a mystic truth…Our baby girl Raabiyaa was born on 23rd September 2023. With grateful and happy hearts, thank you for your love! It’s a whole new world.”

The post was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and celebrity friends like Tilotama Shome, Guneet Monga and Parvathy. Swara’s pregnancy news earlier this year was also received warmly by netizens.

Swara’s Pregnancy Announcement in June
In June, Swara announced her pregnancy by sharing beautiful photos with husband Fahad cradling her baby bump. “Sometimes all your prayers are answered all together! Blessed, grateful, excited (and clueless!) as we step into a whole new world,” she had posted at the time.
Recently, the mom-to-be also held an intimate baby shower attended by close family and friends. The glowing mother prepared a hospital bag with essentials for herself and the baby, courtesy a thoughtful gift hamper from her Tabu aunt.

Fairytale Romance to Parenthood
Swara Bhasker and Fahad Ahmad’s love story is nothing short of a fairytale. The couple first met at an anti-CAA protest in 2020. They started off as friends before realizing they had found love.
The two tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in February 2022. It was followed by wedding festivities with friends and family in March.
And now, within a year, Swara and Fahad have embarked on their journey of parenthood. Their daughter Raabiyaa marks a new chapter in their lives.

Career and Upcoming Projects
On the work front, Swara was last seen in the 2022 film Jahaan Chaar Yaar along with Shikha Talsania, Meher Vij and Pooja Chopra. She currently awaits the release of her next film Mrs Falani directed by Anvitaa Dutt.
The versatile actress is known for films like Raanjhanaa, Nil Battey Sannata, Veere Di Wedding and web series like Rasbhari and Flesh among others. She has successfully straddled both mainstream and indie projects in her career.
With motherhood, Swara is expected to take a short break from work. But fans are excited to eventually see her back in action on screen.
