‘The issue will be resolved’, Sunny Deol’s Spokesperson After Reports of Bank Auctioning Sunny Villa
A bank is auctioning the Mumbai villa of actor Sunny Deol, known as Sunny Villa, in order to recoup a loan of approximately Rs 56 crore, along with the accrued interest. In response to this development, Deol’s spokesperson issued a statement affirming they were working towards resolving the issue and asked for no additional speculation. A film trade analyst also commented on the situation, stating the auction would ultimately be discontinued.
He has one month to resolve the issue at hand. Fortunately, he has possession of the property, which is functional. The bank is executing its responsibilities, but at this point, Sunny is not taking risks. He plans to engage with the bank directly and settle matters. It seems the situation has escalated due to the family’s lack of attentiveness. Now, he will need to proceed with caution, as the statement concluded.
The property in question, Sunny Villa, houses Sunny Super Sound. This establishment, which functions as his office, a preview theatre, and two post-production suites, was established in the late 1980s. A former production team member from Sunny Deol’s office, who was affiliated with the Deols for four decades, confidently stated, “Sunny will surely save it.” Since the site bears Sunny Deol’s renowned name, it’s vital within the film industry.
The report highlighted information about Gadar 2 star, Sunny Deol, whose real name is Ajay Singh Deol, as well as details about a loan. Other loan guarantors included Bobby Deol, legally known as Vijay Singh Deol, Dharmendra Singh Deol, and their company, Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd. The villa slated for auction, named Sunny Villa, is situated on the Gandhigram Road in Juhu. In terms of his career, Sunny Deol’s most recent release, Gadar 2, continues to shatter box office records, raking in Rs 336 crores domestically.
